High-Barrier Options
Happy to discuss the details of this further – Our Green Cell foam requires a moisture barrier which currently is not compostable but is easily removable to compost the inner foam. We are exploring compostable biofilms to replace the LDPE encapsulation.

Size & Weight Limits
Weight Limitations
We do not have a distinct weight limit for our packaging – typically other factors limit the weight of the payload before it impacts the thermal performance of ClimaCell or Green Cell foam.
Size Limitations
Each solution is custom to fit the payload, box size, and performance specs of our customers. We determine size needs during the validation and testing in our packaging lab when we are working with new customers.
Certifications
Other Certifications
Green Cell Foam and ClimaCell are both USDA Certified BioBased.
Although TemperPack does not hold an FSC certification, we screen our paper suppliers and all paper used in ClimaCell is FSC certified.
As a water soluble material, Green Cell foam has also been tested against ISO 14853 biodegradable standards to confirm that it will biodegrade quickly and safely in waste water environments.
Testing Standards
Drop Testing
We rely on ISTA 3A standards and some ASTM standards based on customer needs.
Additional Testing
Both of our products are USDA Certified Biobased.
