The Pet Sustainability Coalition’s Cohort Program unites small, purpose-driven groups of changemakers from our member community in virtual sessions to deepen sustainability expertise, exchange real-world solutions, and lead meaningful progress across the pet industry.

  • One membership credit will be used per person

What are Cohorts?

PSC Cohorts are facilitated, collaborative groups of PSC members who connect regularly throughout a calendar year. Each cohort is organized around a specific topic or job function, bringing together individuals with similar skill sets and professional challenges. The goal is to foster collective problem-solving, share best practices, and build a strong network of peers through both structured meetings and ongoing engagement in a private online forum.

2026 Cohort Tracks & Schedules

Sustainability Newcomers

9AM – 10AM MST

First Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September, November 

This cohort provides a supportive and non-judgmental space to build a strong base of knowledge. Participants will learn key terminology, understand foundational frameworks, and navigate the initial challenges of establishing sustainability initiatives within their organizations.

Sustainability Leaders

9AM – 10AM MST

Second Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, November  

This group is for hands-on practitioners to troubleshoot specific challenges, share practical tools, and exchange successful strategies. The dialogue will center on implementation, measurement, and scaling impact.

European

2PM – 3PM CET

First Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October, December

This cohort is a dedicated space to navigate the unique and evolving landscape of European sustainability regulations, market trends, and consumer expectations. Members will share best practices for compliance and leverage regional opportunities.

Packaging

9AM – 10AM MST 

Second Wednesday of February, April, June, August*, October, December 

A solutions-oriented forum to tackle the complexities of sustainable packaging. The group will focus on collaborative innovation, material science advancements, and supply chain logistics to drive collective progress. This is a space for honest dialogue and problem-solving, not sales pitches.

Ingredients

This cohort is dedicated to advancing the sourcing and application of sustainable ingredients. Participants will collaborate on overcoming shared challenges such as traceability, certification, and supplier engagement to create a more resilient and responsible supply chain. This is a space for honest dialogue and problem-solving, not sales pitches.

Executive Leaders

This cohort is an exclusive forum for executive leaders to confidentially discuss high-level strategic challenges, opportunities for systemic change, and the integration of sustainability into core business strategy. The conversation will focus on vision, leadership, and driving organizational-wide transformation.
